This is something I’ve been trying lately- not exactly at the suggestion of my therapist to stay in bed, but to “be depressed then.” Since morning is when I feel it the worst, I’m doing my bed to lie in bed for at least another 15–20 minutes and feel it. It’s been helping… slowly but surely. Hope you can stick with it and feel the shift as you get more comfortable with the sadness! It won’t eat you alive… that’s what I’ve learned :)
